Review of Knitscene Fall ‘11:
Dana: The article by Amy Herzog about fitting your knits is incredible. As far as patterns go, I love the Charlemont Cardigan, the Montview Cardigan, the Lowry Pullover, the Whittier Hat, and the Live Oak Shawlette. Interweave needs to hurry up and make this magazine available by subscription!! (mentions the Geodesic Cardigan- her attempt at a fingering/laceweight sweater that failed miserably)
Brittany: LOVE.  Patterns I love- Pinstripe Pullover, Cooke Cardigan, Lepidoptera Cardigan, Morrison Cardigan!, Southmoor Hat, Live Oak Shawlette.  Overall the whole aesthetic is amazing! The “tone” of the mag flows very well together. I may not want to knit every pattern, but I do like them all. WHEN has that ever happened??
