Discussion: Spin*Off Fall 2012

– The KAL is still going strong! Thanks to all who are participating and those who have already turned in FOs! Pictures of the prizes are now featured at the top of the FO thread. We are giving away a skein of yarn from Hiwassee Creek Dyeworks, a skein of yarn from Friday Studios, a triangle mini knitting notions bag from A Needle Runs Through It, a needle sizer from Tangerine Designs, and a pattern for self-striping socks from Abby Mroczenski (spitfiresnc). And don’t forget: you only have until September 29 at midnight CT to post your pictures in the FO thread to be considered for a prize!
– Thanks to everyone who entered the lottery for the 2 Crafty Girls club. We had a lot of entrants, and were sad that we couldn’t let everyone in. We are tentatively planning another round for 2013, so stay tuned to the 2 Crafty Girls group on Ravelry for announcements about that!
– Thanks so much to EverythingOld for sponsoring this month! This episode’s contest: what color do you have the most of in your stash, or what color do you knit with the most? Leave a comment in episode 45’s thread on Ravelry to enter, and we’ll lock the thread at midnight CT on September 29. The winner will get this:

One skein of EverythingOld’s Signature Sock in our Just One More Row colorway, “Basket of Lies”! It’s 400yds/100g of 80/20 superwash merino/nylon fingering weight. Good luck everyone!
– iTunes reviews are much appreciated! and thanks so much to those of you that have recently left one- they have made our day!

    Cotton, cotton, cotton….

I have been on a dishcloth kick lately and have a huge Rubbermaid tub full of cotton. Funny thing is, I don’t hand wash dishes…
