If you are a new or established designer and are looking for a tech editor for your accessories, toys, shawls, cowls, or whatever else you have created I am happy to work with you to make the pattern the best it can be.  This includes checking for spelling and grammar errors, checking the math, and comparing written and charted instructions.  I can also assist in writing pattern descriptions.  Contact me to learn more and let’s talk! You can find out more by visiting my site https://jenknittingaround.com/knitting-services/.

Underway:
Dana: Scrappy Happy Summer Tank, Campside Cardi, Peacock Lake (for my swap partner for the Summer Shawl Swap on IG), Chris’s Beary Surprise Socks (still have some UFOs from last episode but these are what I’m working on actively right now. 🙂 )
Jessica: Magic Cake Ruffle Shawl, Self-Striping Socks, Barley Hat, (Porter really wants a Turtle, Turtle by Susan Claudino)

Concluded:
Dana: Entrechat (I’m a sponsor for Frogginette’s KAL!)
Jessica: Modified Molly Hat, Preemie Hats

Sew You Say:
Dana: 100 Acts Of Sewing: finished one of Shirt No 1 so far, and finished 5 of Skirt No 1 (with a in-seam pocket hack found here). Several more of each cut out- just have to find time to sew! Also I finished Chris’s quilt and got it sent off, and was able to gift it on Father’s Day like I hoped! Pics are on IG. I also finished my birthday quilt, and have done quite a bit of shop sewing. Project and notions bags galore!
Jessica: Chambray Dress from Joann’s (New Look 6245)

Where The Wild Things Are:
Dana: Madelyn’s watermelon-themed 2nd birthday party went off without a hitch! Perfect day!
Jessica: Porter is doing Robotics Camp at his school!

Makers Moment:
Dana: I’ve cut over half of my basil out to use, and it’s still enormous. I made watermelon salsa for Madelyn’s party and it was AMAZING. Also made pesto for the first time! Apparently I need to think of more things to use it in though!
Jess: Basil shrubs are doing well, blossom rot on the tomatoes, something’s eating the eggplants, but I’m growing watermelon in a bucket!

Contest:
Please answer the prompt in the episode in the contest thread on Ravelry. The winner will be selected via RNG out of all entries in the thread. (regular contest rules apply) You have until July 8 at noon ET to enter. The winner will get to pick their choice of skein from HanaMadeIt‘s shop!
